When Mary Mason opened
her gourmet food shopin
1966, Easton did not have an upscale candy store. She decided to
sell the region's best chocolates in her gift shop to entice people
to come down to the Mason's end of Harrison Street. It worked. Today,
Mason's is a premier chocolatier, selling many pounds of candy every
day.
